CAMRA is not just for old fogies, with beards and jumpers. CAMRA is also a young persons organisation. Many of our members are aged 18-30 and we arrange social events of interest to young people.

Branch’s Young Members’ Contacts help promote local CAMRA activities to younger members in the Branch’s area. Their activities include:

Being the liaison person between the Branch and younger CAMRA members in the area;
Working with the Branch Membership Secretary, keeping an up to date list of young members within the Branch;
Arranging social events for young members in the Branch area;
Suggesting and initiating ideas to recruit more young members;
Giving feedback to the Branch and Region and ensuring that young members’ issues are discussed at Branch meetings;
Liaising with the Branch Social Secretary to avoid clashes of activities and events.
